Thank you so much for your lovely message. It's wonderful to receive such kind comments from people who have come across your music, and I'm very grateful you took the time to message me.
'Turn' is one of my favourites from the album and it's mostly about the changing of the seasons from the end of summer into autumn, when the leaves turn yellow, red, golden and begin to fall from the trees. The sense that things are about to change with the continuous turning of the seasons. Autumn is my favourite season - slower, unhurried and hinting at an encroaching coldness in the coming months. I tried to write a piece of music which reflected these things and as it's the first track on the album, I hoped it would also beckon the listener in a little.
